Lose Now ("we", "our", or "the app") is operated by Futuron Inc. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our iOS application.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide: When you use Lose Now, you may optionally provide personal information such as your name, weight, height, dietary goals, calorie targets, diet style preferences, and activity level. This information is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

Food Photos: When you use the photo analysis or menu scanning features, images are sent to Google's Gemini AI service for analysis. We do not store these images on our servers.

Chat Messages: Your conversations with the AI diet coach are processed through the MiniMax API. Chat history is stored locally on your device as daily log files.

Food Log Data: Your daily food entries and calorie tracking data are stored locally on your device.

How We Use Your Information

To provide personalized diet coaching and nutritional analysis
To track your daily calorie intake and progress towards goals
To analyze food photos and restaurant menus
To maintain conversation context for better coaching

Data Storage

All personal data, chat history, food logs, and preferences are stored locally on your device. We do not maintain user accounts or store your data on external servers. Deleting the app will remove all locally stored data.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to provide app functionality:

Google Gemini API: For food photo and menu analysis. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
MiniMax API: For AI chat conversations. Messages are sent to MiniMax servers for processing.
RevenueCat: For subscription management. Subject to RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
Apple: For in-app purchases and App Store services. Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.

Subscriptions

Lose Now offers auto-renewable subscriptions managed through Apple's App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.

Children's Privacy

Lose Now is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Data Security

Since your data is stored locally on your device, it is protected by your device's built-in security features, including passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
